« and I just want to make this last (day 25/365)
soon we’ll be living in the future (fifty-two-on-friday) »

this photograph is proof (fifty-two on friday)

January 28, 2011

Meet Ruby.
Ruby is an extremely simple dog. She doesn’t do any fancy tricks (actually, she doesn’t even “sit”) Ruby and her puppies were saved from a high kill shelter by a rescue group. She had been very abused. When we went to adopt a new dog, Myra spotted her, sitting quietly in the back. Despite my attempts to talk her into one of the many puppies, Myra was set on Ruby (or, Glory, as the tag on her cage read) We asked to visit with her and though she was VERY calm (and a bit boring?) Myra was in Love.

So, we adopted our simple dog.

Since coming home, she has showed us that she does actually have quite the personality, and we all love her.

And she loves us, plain and simple.

Now head over to startin photo – phoenix, az photographer for her take on “simple”

Oh Breeze what a beautiful dog Ruby is and how lucky that you guys rescued her. That second image of your son and her is amazing. They are giving each other the warmest hug. I can feel there’s lots and lots of love in your home.

Oh, what a lucky dog! A dog’s love is simple. They love you no matter what. How simple is that? This is perfect, Breeze.

I think your daughter has some serious intuition. Ruby needed you. I think that’s obvious from the second image. This brought tears to my eyes, Breeze. Thanks a lot. I’m such a sap when it comes to animals.

    Beautiful images!!
