I’m so behind in blogging. I’m trying to catch up though. This is a sneak peek from a great session. This is Mr. C. I can only hope that one day my own little Mr. C listens and behaves as well as he does. <3

Miss Myra Lee

May 16, 2010

Myra has been feeling sick today. I spent the day taking pictures of her doll because the focus on my camera is not working. After multiple tests, I gave up and printed out the canon return form. Only after that did she agree to one picture.

(Don’t tell her, but I took more than one. I wanted to make sure I got at least one without focus issues :-\ I hope my canon repair is a speedy one)

As May rushes in

May 8, 2010

It’s so easy to forget. The obligations add up, the bills pile in, everyone needs something.

It’s so easy to forget. To forget what really matters. To stop and treasure each moment. To smile and laugh and enjoy it all. Myra starts kindergarten in the fall and already her schedule is full of commitments.

But this summer, I’m determined not to forget. We will enjoy the things of summer. The chalk, the swings, the bumps and bruises that are a part of playing outside, the messy popsicles and the out-of-nowhere afternoon thunderstorms.

the sky opened up and started pouring rain
like it knew it was time to start things over again
and be all right, it’s all right”
